The House of Joy  Pictures

  • Four family-sized rooms, two full bathrooms with showers and two half-baths. Each room has a queen size bed and a sleeping loft that provides additional sleeping space for 3. Sleeping lofts are best for young people since the loft ceiling  height is only 4 feet. 
  • Total bed space for up to 23 (this includes a double sleeper sofa and a futon).
  • Spacious wrap-around decks
  • Kitchen provided for your own food preparation
  • Dining area includes indoor seating for 24 and additional seating on the deck for 16.
  • Big-screen TV for visual presentations or family movie time
  • Chairs for up to 50 in the great room for meetings or presentations
  • Large campfire area with stone and wood benches surrounding it
  • Tether-ball, ladder-ball, bag toss and horse shoe games
  • Collection of books, indoor games and family-friendly movies
  • Cozy gas-log fireplace
  • Small waterfall at rear of building

The Redeemer Cabin    Pictures

  • MTE's newest cabin
  • Sleep areas include an upstairs room with one queen bed and four twin beds. Additionally, there is a double futon in the living room.
  • Kitchenette (includes oven, stove, refrigerator, toaster and coffeemaker)
  • Full bathroom with tub/shower
  • Deck on rear of cabin
  • Linens and dinnerware are provided
  • Additional showers and toilets are available in adjacent bath house

 

 

 


The Bunkhouse

  • Rustic camp setting
  • Sleeping for up to seven people
  • Two bunk beds, a crawl-space sleeping loft for two, and a futon 
  • A half bath is in the Bunkhouse (showers are nearby in the bath house).
  • No kitchen at this time
  • A fire ring is adjacent to the Bunkhouse.
  • The kitchen and dining area in the House of Joy may be used if available at the time of your stay.
  • This cabin currently does not have electricity. Battery powered lights will be provided.
  • Planned renovations for 2016 include adding electricity, building a deck and installing a sliding glass door which will lead out to the deck.

The Chalet

  • Suited for up to three people
  • Two twin beds in upstairs loft and a double size futon in living room area
  • There is no bathroom in the Chalet. The bath house is a short walk up a trail.
  • Mini-refrigerator (no kitchen)
  • A campfire area is nearby.
  • Kitchen and dining area in the House of Joy may be used if available at the time of your stay.

Tent Area

  • Located just down the hill from the bath house
  • Room for approximately four large tents or six small tents
  • A campfire ring is nearby.
  • The kitchen and dining area in the House of Joy may be used if available at the time of your stay.
